Belcolade participated in Salon Du Chocolat Tokyo

Belcolade participated in Salon Du Chocolat Tokyo as Belcolade for the first time from Jan 21 – 26 2009, at Isetan Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The main purpose was to unveil Belcolade brand to Japanese consumers. Belcolade is well accepted among customers such as patissiers and chocolatiers, however, we had not been doing PR to consumers directly until this time. By recognized among consumers, we expect the brand value of our customers products will also be higher.

There were 3 main subjects at Belcolade booth. The first one was the presentation of concept "Cyrano - Les aromes du chocolat". We have presented chocolate aroma with locally organized Cyrano chart and aroma slips. The chart is designed with 7 groups of Cyrano aromas, which is associated with the icon of each Origin chocolate tablets we specially produced for Salon Du Chocolat. This Cyrano chart and the icon on the tablet enables you to "see" the aroma of each tablet of chocolate. Not only visually understanding the aromas, people could also experience the aroma with the slips of aromas from Cyrano box.

The second subject was developing and selling 3 types of products. The 3 products were exclusively produced for Salon Du Chocolat. (1) Cyrano Tablets: tablets of 6 Origins,  (2) Cyrano Assort A: 6 bon bon chocolat of plain ganache of 6 Origins, developed by Joris by Joris Vanhee, Puratos Japan Chief Demonstrator, with Cyrano Tablets, (3) Cyrano Assort B: 6 bon bon chocolat of flavored ganache of 6 Origins developed by 3 chefs (Mr. Shinpei Asada, Mr. Hideki Kawamura, Mr. Koji Fujita), who were former members of Japan team of WPTC.

The third subject was releasing Stephane Leroux's "Matiere Chocolat". Even though it was consumers' event, we received admiration as well as a number of orders.

A lot of chocolate manias from over the country were very interested in our secret professional Belgian chocolate brand. Even for chocolate lovers, the aromas naturally created in chocolate were not aware. To make them understand the chocolate aromas, the Cyrano slips were very effective and easy to understand.
